Caramel Biscuits


 
250g butter
1 tblsp condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups cornflakes
1 ¾ cups sugar
1 egg2 cups flour
½ tsp baking soda
1 cup coconut
(these biscuits spread out a lot, so only press a little and leave some space, so they don't turn out as one enormous biscuit!! They taste very nice though!)

Cream butter and sugar, add condensed milk, egg and vanilla. Beat well and fold in flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Lastly, add coconut and cornflakes. Roll into small balls and press slightly. Bake at 180C for 15-20 minutes.
